Reasons clients might choose this therapy service

I would encourage anyone to speak to different therapists before choosing one. Many therapists, me included, are always happy to respond to email enquiries or to offer free telephone consultations. There is no obligation or expectancy to have to then use my therapy service after this. So if you have any combination of the difficulties below or any questions you'd like to ask me, I would be happy to hear from you.

Types of therapy and therapy style:

  • I want to access evidence based therapy for my mental health disorder (further details of specific disorders on this page): Problems

  • I would like to try Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

  • I would like a therapist who takes an active role rather than expects me to do all the work.

  • I'd like to have a therapist long term who I can develop a longstanding working relationship with.

  • I'd like a therapist who can work quickly so I don't have to spend too much money on the process.

  • I'd like to have a therapist who makes my problems feel validated and deeply understood.

  • I'd like a therapist who isn't afraid to call me out on things and who isn't afraid if I call them out on things.

  • I'd like a therapist who thinks outside the box and is willing to be creative in the pursuit of my goals.
